Will you believe that Pomegranates -- the fruit of the Punica granatum tree, which we pretty much take for granted in India (also commonplace in the Middle-East, Russia, Afghanistan, China, Iran, and Japan) is considered an exotic fruit in the US? Harvard Medical experts lament that very few American men have heard of the pomegranate, and fewer still have eaten the curious-looking fruit loaded with red seeds.
